Twenty Years and More!

This month we celebrate 20 years in business doing social and organizational network analysis!  Thank you to our Clients, Colleagues and Collaborators! 

We have seen a lot in these 20 years.  We accomplished a few firsts, including being the first to map and publish the network of the 9-11 hijackers. The article written about that mapping experience ended up #11 in the Top 100 papers in terrorism studies.

I found one of our first web pages from 1995.  It includes a network map from the original Macintosh version of InFlow, which I programmed in MacProlog32 on Mac System 6 -- that is not OS X -- but early 1990s Mac OS.  The network map was from a project we did for the IBM Consulting Group (now IBM Global Services) in the early 1990s.

Network analysis has grown in the last 20 years and is now Network Science and Data Visualization and Mathematical Sociology all rolled into one.  We are working on new methods and new metrics and are eager to share them with our clients!  Exciting times ahead!  Onward to the next 20 years.
